Pickleball in Carp 2024

At the Huntley Pickleball Club, we’re all about bringing the joy of pickleball to the community. We welcome all ages and skill levels. Our club is the perfect place to find fun, fitness, and friendship on the court.

What is Pickleball?

Pickleball is a cross between tennis, ping pong and badminton, and played on badminton sized court.

We are pleased to advise that four courts have been painted on the outdoor hockey rink at the Huntley Community Centre (108 Juanita Ave.).

2024 Season Details

The Carp Pickleball volunteer management for 2024 is as follows:

  • Scheduling Admin – Natalie Drover
  • Facility Coordinator – Beth Campbell
  • Maintenance, Equipment Manager – Beth McLaughlin
  • Skill Builder – Connie Atherfold
  • Skill Builder – Elizabeth O’Brien
  • Registration Coordinator – Sue Wynter
  • HCA Sports Director – Dan Wallace

We will continue to use the Facebook page to share information.
This year the fee will be $50. Drop-ins with a member are welcome for $5. This year we’ll be launching a new court booking platform and hosting some intro to pickleball sessions early in the season. There are also plans in the works for some other events. More details coming soon.

Volunteers to assist in these responsibilities are always welcome, so please let us know if you can assist in any way.
