The following amendments to the HCA Constitution and By-Laws document will be presented for approval at the AGM on April 25 2024:
- Article 2: Objectives
The Objectives section (Article 2) will be amended to include a statement to indicate the neutrality of the Association regarding candidates or questions on a federal, provincial or municipal election ballot. - Article 3: Conditions of Membership
Due to changes to the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (ONCA), the structure of our membership will need to be revamped. We will re-define eligibility for membership, and how to become a member of the HCA. This will require some changes to our by-laws that define membership.
