Membership Confirmation

Thank you for registering as a member of the Huntley Community Association. You will receive a confirmation of your information by email.

Memberships have been established to comply with some newer requirements of the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act which was passed in 2021. It replaced Ontario’s Corporations Act as the legislation governing not-for-profit incorporated businesses. An HCA membership gives you the right to vote on motions presented at any meeting of members of the Huntley Community Association, including the Annual General Meeting. Other perks of membership may be developed in the future. At this time, there is no annual fee to register as a member of the HCA.

As this is a new effort by the HCA, we have not yet worked out all of the details of memberships, and how we will manage them in the longer term. It is likely we will subscribe to a membership software package to ease the task of keeping track of all the details. We hope to establish a membership management system some time during 2024.

Memberships expire annually on December 31 of the year. You will be reminded to renew your membership at that time, by email or through a Newsletter from the Association.
