Softball Diamonds
The Huntley Community Association manages three ball diamonds that are in the Carp area. Two diamonds are for softball, and are located near the corner of Juanita Avenue and Langstaff Drive next to the HCA Outdoor Rink. The other diamond is for baseball, and is on Craig’s Side Road behind the HCA Mess Hall building. During the softball season the softball fields are used for games and practice by the West Carleton Softball program.
Craig’s Side Road Baseball Diamond
The baseball diamond on Craig’s Side Road was not used for a number of years and had deteriorated considerably due to lack of use or regular maintenance. The Kanata Baseball Association approached the HCA to investigate the possibility of restoring the facility for their use. These efforts have resulted in a much improved facility, and is now being maintained and is in use by the Kanata group for youth baseball. They posted a note on Facebook about the renewed baseball park in June of 2025.

Public Use
These facilities are used for active sports activities by organized teams and at times by the general public, both adults and our children. We try to maintain cleanliness as much as possible for the community, and to avoid unnecessary contamination. We respectfully request the public to refrain from walking dogs or other animals on our sports fields to help us in these efforts. We appreciate your understanding of this request.
