Riding Information
Most ridings in Canada have changed since the last federal election and residents of Carp and area need to know which riding is now their home. There are big changes. The entire west of Ward 5 (Kinburn, Dunrobin Constance Bay etc.) now falls into the Carleton Riding that used to be part of Kanata-Carleton. The village of Carp is in the new Kanata Riding with Craig Side Road just west of the Diefenbunker the boundary with Carleton. To the north the boundary goes over the Carp Ridge then along Murphy Sideroad, Constance Lake Road and Berry Side Road all the way to the Ottawa river. See the map below for details.
Most of you will be in the Kanata Riding but some Huntley Community Association members are in Carleton Riding.
Election Day is Monday April 28th.
Note that Advance Voting is in Kanata at the Wingate by Wyndham at 8600 Campeau Drive.
