Pickleball in Carp

Pickelball in Carp – at the Outdoor Rink

We have now reached capacity for our facility, therefore registrations have been suspended.  Thanks to everyone for your interest.

What is Pickleball?

Pickelball is a cross between tennis, ping pong and badminton, and played on badminton sized court.

We are pleased to advise that two courts have been painted on the outdoor hockey rink at the Carp Fairgrounds (108 Juanita Ave.).

We would like to thank the city and our councillor Eli El-Chantiry for making this happen.

If you would like further details go to the Carp Pickelball Group Facebook page or contact Ken Perkins or Sue Wynter at 613-850-9952.

COST:  $20 per person for the 2020 season.

ATTIRE:  Running shoes and comfortable clothing to move in

EQUIPMENT:  Players must bring their own racquets to play.  Balls will be provided.

All levels are welcome.

The following information was copied from Facebook on July 16 2020.  For the latest news from the Pickleball coordinators, please check the Carp Pickleball Group Facebook page.

Registration for Carp Pickleball is now closed as we are full.
For those who have registered and paid, here are our new hours of open play effective immediately:

Wed, Fri and Sun 8:30am-12:30pm
Mon Tues Wed Thur and Fri 6:00pm-9:00pm

We have expanded our hours to accommodate our increase in membership. Please come when it is convenient for you so that not everyone comes at the same time and we can all spend more time playing rather than waiting for a court.

If you have any questions please see our evening coordinators JP and Gabrielle or daytime coordinators Ken and Sue. We look forward to seeing you on the court!
