Fundraising Scrap Metal and Electronic Recycling Drive
Friday Afternoon May 23rd until Sunday Afternoon May 25th 2025
The Huntley Community Association is once again providing local area residents with an environmentally convenient way to recycle metal waste.
Two bins will be located across from the outdoor rink at the Carp Fairgrounds.
All types of metal will be accepted including insulated wiring, batteries, and appliances that do not contain Freon or flammable liquids.
Hazardous waste cannot be accepted.
E-waste will be accepted but we ask that this be put separately in the smaller bin.(e.g. old TV’s, computers, printers, phones, etc.)
Volunteers will often be onsite to guide residents on placement of items in the two bins. Availability of assistance will depend on the number of volunteers who can offer some time to help. Please send a note to volunteer@hca-carp.ca if you are able to help out.
