Fundraising Scrap Metal and Electronic Recycling Drive

Friday June 17, Saturday 18th, and Sunday 19th

The Huntley Community Association is once again providing local area residents with an environmentally convenient way to recycle metal waste.

Funds raised from the sale of the scrap will support the efforts of West Carleton Disaster Relief. WCDR is actively supporting victims of the recent major wind storm.

Two bins will be located across from the outdoor rink at the Carp Fairgrounds.
All types of metal will be accepted including insulated wiring and appliances that do not contain Freon or flammable liquids.

E-waste will be accepted but we ask that this be put separately in the smaller bin.(e.g. old TV’s, computers, printers, phones, etc.)

Volunteers will be onsite from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 18th for those residents who may need assistance placing their recyclable metal in the bin.
